Chiveta Di Bagnoregio: Rick Rocks!
When the group met back at the bus at 1:30pm in Orvieto, Ben had a surprise for us. He said if we were up for a bit of an adventure Adrian had agreed to drive us to a tiny almost abandoned hilltop town called Chiveta Di Bagnoregio. He warned that Adrian would get us as close to the city as cars were allowed, but we would have a bit of a walk through Bagnoregio then up the foot-only bridge to Chiveta. Of course our group couldn't pass up the opportunity to see this gem that Ben described as picturesque "Old" Italy, so we set off.
This is just one of the many reasons being a part of the Rick Steve's tour was such a unique experience. Having a knowledgeable guide and driver who were determined to make the best use of our time was priceless!

Our fun-loving "Rocky" family!
After wandering through the town and snapping tons of pictures, we descended the bridge and walked back through Bagnoregio then rode back to our Agritourismo. We had a bit of down time again before another group meal. We really enjoyed spending time together as a group, especially with three delicious courses, dessert, great service, a beautiful view, and plenty of conversation.
On to Rome!
